This hike is a fun filled adventure that had a lot of scenic views and it includes the parks only arch. Located on the far east side of the park it offers a good little romp through some pretty red rock.
This was actually my wife’s and I first stop of the day when we went. The arch is located not far into the adventure, maybe a half a mile. It is well signed too, so I wouldn’t worry about missing it. For photogenic purposes go in the evening, the sun sets to the west of it and will light it up nicely.
We never finished the entire Sentinel Trail due to time restraints, but it was a pleasant start to a good day.
