Bridal Veil Falls

Bridal Veil FallsIts been a while since I have done any big hike. Kinda sad, but that is the life of a college student. I think that will change here soon. I am planning on being a bit more adventuresome. I am getting the itch to go somewhere.

But in the mean time, little things like this will do.

Here this past week was a nice 4 day break for us, and so we went up and visited family and had a good time. On our last day though, we stopped by a place that I have been wanting to visit for a while now, Bridal Veil Falls.

This huge waterfall that comes cascading off the the mountain in Provo Canyon. Actually its two waterfalls, so its a double cascade. The hike is actually much bigger than what we went on, but it was cold and we were running out of time.

Its about a 10 minute walk from the parking lot to the waterfall. From that point on to the end of the trail, I don’t know. I hear you can walk to the waterfall on another trail, and in the summer the locals just go hiking up the waterfall.

This waterfall is also famous for ice climbing during the winter. So if you are into that or are wanting to see some of that, this is the place.

I also just bought a new camera and have began a photography blogsite. So if you want to see what I was actually going for when it comes to photography check it out  here- Bridal Veil Falls
