It’s Time To Return

Zion Bridege Overlook_1It’s time to return to southern Utah. One of the few things repeated frequently around hiking websites about places here in Utah are times of year to go hiking.

The time suggested is Spring and Fall.

Last week I hiked Hidden Canyon again. Temperatures were in the 60’s and it was perfect. In about 2 weeks most trees will be in full bloom and the leaves will be returning. Good for photographers, good for hikers.

Over the next two weeks I have plans to visit a canyon in Kolob and go on a three day backpacking trip in Escalante. Lots of new materiel coming soon.

So if you are planning a trip to southern Utah, now is the time. the weather is cool and it’s still not insanely busy.

If you need advice where to go, don’t be afraid to make a comment, I will do my best to help.
